As the President and CEO of Inspired Growth, I am honored to serve as both a financial advisor and visionary for our clients. My journey in the financial services industry began in 1982 as a tax planner and preparer. By 1986, I founded RLJ Financial Services, dedicating my career to guiding clients through their financial journeys. Over the years, I have earned key designations, including Enrolled Agent, Accredited Tax Advisor, Accredited Business Advisor, Certified Fund Specialist, and Certified Senior Advisor, all of which have enhanced my ability to serve our clients effectively.
My role centers on meeting with clients to develop tailored plans, with a focus on assisting pre-retirees and post-retirees in managing their retirement assets. I take immense satisfaction in bringing vision, direction, and clarity to a client's overall financial life, encompassing investments, taxes, estate, and business matters. Initially, I referred clients to other financial advisors, but I was sometimes surprised by the investment choices made. This led me to become securities licensed with HD Vest in 1994, offering clients the convenience and trust of a one-stop shop for both tax and investment planning.
Growing up in a small, tight-knit town in central Indiana, I learned the importance of community connections. Today, I live on a small almond farm in Ceres, CA, with my wife. Together, we have seven children and fourteen grandchildren, who bring immense joy to our lives. My faith and trust in the Lord Jesus are central to my life, inspiring me to support charities that assist the underprivileged globally and locally. I am deeply involved in our church fellowship, Bible studies, and related activities, striving to pass on the blessings I have received.
In my free time, I enjoy starting and organizing non-profit charities that make a positive difference in the lives of others. I love spending time with my family at home, working in the garden and yard, and traveling to witness God’s incredible creation. Hosting guests for meals and overnight stays brings me joy, as I cherish the opportunity to connect with others and share in the blessings of life.
